The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported September 2025 annual consumer price inflation at 3.7%, exceeding economist forecasts of 3.6%.

RBC assistant chief economist Nathan Janzen expects the annual inflation rate will remain steady around three percent, driven primarily by persistently high gasoline prices. White House spokesperson Matthew Middleton stated that under President Trump, private sector annual earnings have outpaced inflation by over $600.

A central government has set a 2027 GDP growth target of 10% or higher, with consumer price inflation projected to hold near 4.5%.

Jefferies adjusted a price target on the same date, citing higher earnings forecasts and stronger than expected biodiesel spreads. Verbio management has noted a €100-per-tonne move in quota prices would impact annual EBITDA by between €40 million and €80 million.
